  1. Number Systems (6 marks)

    • Real Numbers: Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic; proofs of irrationality (√2, √3, √5) 

  2. Algebra (20 marks)

    • Polynomials: Zeros and coefficients

    • Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables: Graphical, substitution/elimination methods; consistency/inconsistency; simple relatable problems

    • Quadratic Equations: Standard form, factoring, completing the square, quadratic formula; discriminant and nature of roots; everyday application problems

    • Arithmetic Progressions: Derivation of nth term and sum of first n terms; real‑life applications 

  3. Coordinate Geometry (6 marks)

    • Concepts: Plotting graphs of linear equations, distance formula, section formula 

  4. Geometry (15 marks)

  5. Trigonometry (12 marks)

  6. Mensuration (10 marks)

    • Areas Related to Circles: Sectors and segments (central angles 60°, 90°, 120°); related perimeter problems

    • Surface Areas & Volumes: Combinations of two solids among cube, cuboid, sphere, hemisphere, right circular cylinder/cone 

  7. Statistics & Probability (11 marks)

    • Statistics: Mean, median, mode of grouped data

    • Probability: Classical definition; simple event problems
